Monét Kees

Monét Kees is an Extension Educator for Community Development in Marion County. She joined Purdue Extension in 2018. She began her work in the land grant extension system in 2015. During her career, she has focused on community development through technology outreach and small business assistance. In 2016, she was awarded the Geoff Guyton Innovation in Technology Award for her work in piloting a workforce development training program which provided education and telework opportunities for local citizens in her community. Her Extension responsibilities include program planning and development, community planning, organizational development, and workforce development.

Monét is a certified Business Retention and Expansion International Project Coordinator as well as a certified instructor for Credit Builders Alliance Credit as an Asset training and Digital Works facilitator. Monét obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Master of Public Policy and Administration from Mississippi State University. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Instructional Systems and Workforce Development.
